Paper two Audience Analysis

For this assignment, you will conduct audience analysis to further develop your persuasive
communication plan. The goal of audience analysis is to generate insights about your target
audience – their needs, aspirations, values and predispositions, habits, etc. – that can inform the
choice of your overall persuasion strategy as well as audience segmentation and tailoring of
persuasive messages.
Getting to Know your Target Audience

Generally speaking, audience analysis includes several steps: (1) determine the optimal target
audience for your plan, (2) research your target audience, (3) develop an audience segmentation
plan, and (4) chart a strategy for engaging each audience segment.

II. Target Audience
• Who is the most logical primary target audience for your project? Explain why.
• Can you think of a secondary target audience that may be helpful in promoting or
