Explain whether Are pur liberties in Peril?

Uniquely American values (liberty, individualism, Self-governance, and especially equality) grew hand-in-hand with the concept of ‘inalienable rights,’ rights granted to every individual because of the moral value of human life. These beliefs and the Revolutionary War drove the writing of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, along with future amendments, laws, and Supreme Court rulings designed to expand the concept that ‘all men are created equal.’

Your paper will explore the current state of liberty in America. Recently, our rights have come in conflict with the need for security, with religious values, and even with other rights. Are our rights in America strong and continuing to support equality and our values? Or are our rights in peril? Your answer to this question should form the basis of your thesis for the paper.
