Ancient Roman history and literacies. There is no specific topic restricted to this essay. Just look for a topic on books: Aeneid, Metamorphoses, Satyricon, and/or Annals. You don’t have to use all of them, and the number of sources and which one to use really just depends on the choice of topic. Some examples could be “theme of ***”, “analyzing characters in ***”, “compare the same theme between different books *** and ***”, etc. These are just some rough examples. Just come up with something meaningful as the topic. I attached a list of topics for a previous essay that was on different books so that you get an idea of what kind of topics to choose.

For the books, here are the strict versions of books to use. Please DO NOT use a different edition other than what I listed below:
