For instance, in the “means of production”, “human competition” already exists because there are two types that exist, namely:

These two types compete for ownership with regards to anything that may be utilized to “produce material needs and maintain existence”. In addition to that, since “human competition” is highly related to the “mode of production”, it has also led to the “determination of the totality of the social superstructure”. Simply put, “human competition” then also determines the composition of the State as well as political institutions.

Every musical needs two things script and music, the musical that I saw at the civic center “A Funny Thing Happened on the way to the Forum. ” It is witty characters and humorous songs made it a delight to see and you left with a smile. The music was the best out of the whole play. The orchestra was small having a piano, two violins, bass guitar, reed one and two, trumpet one and two, trombone, and percussion each instrument being a big part of production. The play starts with a song “comedy to night” giving a background in the streets of ancient Rome of three houses.
The center of the house Senex who lives there with his wife Domina, son Hero, and the many slaves them owned. Hero has his own slave Pseudolus who is the main character and head slave Hysteria. One of the other neighbors is owned my Marcus Lycus, the house is a whorehouse. The other neighbor is Erronius who has been gone for many years trying to find his children who were abducted my pirates. Thing singer who plays Pseudolus tone was raspy, pitch high, two beats, and tempo allegro the music flowed well and pulling the audience in quickly with it being very humorous.
I thought the texture was monophonic being only one person singing the song and form being AB. The song ends giving a summary of the whole play, and it goes on to the next song. Hero the son of Senex has fallen in love with a girl who he has never spoken too. He starts to sing “love, I hear” his tone was rich, pitch was high, dynamic was mezzo forte, the tempo of the song was allegro it was a lovely song that expressed his love for a girl he has never spoken to. The song had two beats with the texture of the music monophonic because it was only one person singing it. After he ends he tells his slave Pseudolus if you get me that girl.

I will let you be free and Pseudolus is so shocked that he cannot believe it and starts to sing “free” his texture is very raspy, with tempo vivace, and dynamics Mezzo Piano. The pitch is high and form verse course and recitative singing like speech. This song was very funny and a great laugh. The play goes on to Pseudolus and Hero trying to think of plan so they go to Lycus house to find the girl to buy her from Lycus. When the song “the house of Marcus Lycus” starts to play, this song is made more dancing then singing the pitch is low, form was verse then instrumental, the tempo moderato, and dynamic mezzo forte.
This song has a lot of bras and saxophone. The next song “lovely” where tone color of Hero is dark and Philia is bright, the pitch is high, the dynamics is forte, tempo of the music was andante, and with each the song being four beats. Pseudolus tries to keep them together; however, one problem Philia is to be married to the Caption a general for Rome. They Pseddolus, Philia, and hero start singing about what their life could be called “pretty little picture” it is high pitch, a funny song with the dynamic being forte.
The form is verse, chores, verse, chores, and the texture homophonic because it had three people singing it. Pseudolus tells hero to hide Philia in the house while he goes to find away to keep them together. However, Philia is not smart at all and does not know what her husband looks like and gets confused with Heroes father Senex and he thinks Philia is a new maid Hysterium brought on. An a new song begins “Everyone Ought have a Maid” the song is sung by Senex whose tone is bright, then Psedulous comes in with a raspy tone, and then Hysterium who comes in at the end and tone being mellow.
The texture for this song starts monophonic, then because Psedulous joins in it becomes polyphonic, and then because Hysterium joins in to the end it becomes homophonic with all three singing together. The tempo was vivace with the three men, pitch was high, the form was verse, chores, verse, chores, and with two beats. After the song ends Senex hides from his wife and goes to take a bath and tells Hysterium to bring the maid Phila after he finishes into Erronius house where Senex was staying. But while this is happening, Erronius returns home, finally having given up the search for his long-lost children.
Hysterium, desperate to keep him out of the house where his master is bathing, tells the old man that his house has become haunted – a story seemingly confirmed by the sound of Senex singing in his bath. Erronius immediately determines to have a soothsayer come and banish the spirit from his house, and Pseudolus obligingly poses as one, telling Erronius that in order to banish the spirit, he must travel seven times around the seven hills of Rome (thus keeping the old man occupied and out of the way for quite a while). Hysterium starts to go crazy and sings “I’m Calm” the music has a lot of plucking from the strings.
The tone was mellow, with only one beat, pitch was high, and tempo Presto, dynamic is fortissimo, AB form, one beat. The story goes on to Histerium not bring Phila to Senex who she thinks is Miles Glorious. However, Phila comes out and goes and hugs Hero while Senex sees and Phila then winks at Senex. Both men are confused and wonder what the heck is happening. They start to sing “impossible” the pitch was high, tempo vivace, dynamics mezzo forte, texture polyphonic, form verse chores, and tome color for the father Senex was bright and Hero the son was dark.
After the song the captain Miles Gloriosus comes into town and comes for his bride who he paid for Phila. He starts to sing ‘Bring me my Bride” his tone color was dark, four beats, tempo allegro, texture homophonic, pitch low and form verse, chores. They finished the song and Act one ended. Then Act two starts with Complicating matters further, Domina returns from her trip early, suspicious that her husband Senex is “up to something low. ” She disguises herself in virginal white robes and a veil (much like Philia’s) to try to catch Senex being unfaithful.
She starts to sing “that dirty old man” out of the whole cast, I hated her voice she was screaming the song and belting all the words. Her tone color was bright, two beats, pitch was high, tempo allegro, dynamics forte, texture is monophonic, and AB form. The story goes on where Hero and Phila in front of all three houses and wishing they could be with each other. They try to think of a plan, but they had nothing so Phila start to sing “That’ll show him” in this song Phila is telling Hero that when she is kissing the Captain, but she will be thinking of Hero and kiss the Captain more. She is not the smartest girl.
Her tone color was bright, pitch high, tempo allegretto, texture monophonic, two beats, and form verse, chores. Pseudolus convinces Hysterium to help him by dressing in drag and pretending to be Philia, “dead” from the plague. An starts to sing “lovely (reprise)” to make him feel beautiful and confident to be a girl even though he is a guy. His pitch was moderate; tempo andante, dynamic mezzo forte, he is tone color was rich because he was a smoker, and texture monophonic. While Hysterium is acting like Phila dead the captain wants a big funeral for her so all the slave girls and soldiers are there morning her.
And the “funeral sequence” starts in the song there were words from Miles Gloriosus and everyone else doing a melodic crying. In the whole play this is the only song that has three beats, pith moderate, tempo andante, AB form, dynamic mezzo piano, and texture monophonic. Unfortunately, it turns out that Miles Gloriosus has just returned from Crete, where there is of course no actual plague. With the trick revealed, the main characters run for their lives, resulting in chase with both Miles and Senex pursuing all three Philae’s; Domina, Hysterium, and the actual Philia – all wearing identical white robes and veils.
Meanwhile, the whores from the house of Marcus Lycus who had been recruited as mourners at Philia’s ersatz funeral have escaped, and Lycus sends his eunuch out to bring them all back, adding to the chaos. Finally, the Captain’s troops are able to round everyone up. Pseudolus appears to be in deep trouble; however, Erronius, completing his third circuit of the Roman hills, shows up unexpectedly to discover that Miles Gloriosus and Philia are wearing matching rings which mark them as his long-lost children. Philia’s betrothal to the Captain is canceled by the unexpected surprise that he’s her brother.
Philia weds Hero; Pseudolus gets his freedom and the lovely slave girl Gymnasia; Gloriosus receives twin courtesans to replace Philia; Erronius gets his children, and a happy ending prevails for all – except for poor Senex, stuck with his shrewish wife Domina. It ends with are last song “final comedy tonight” with Pseudolus singing and then everyone joins in. the pitch is high, tempo allegro, dynamics mezzo forte, texture polyphonic, AB form, two beats, and the genre of all the songs would be a musical comedy. This musical was fun and delight to see and if I could see it again I would.
For my cousins birthday we got to go to Taylor Swift concert in South Carolina where I stayed for spring break with family. On March 23 we went and it was amazing, there was seventeen songs she sang and also Ed Sheeran as her opening act. It was load and a lot of fun, their genre of both singers was pop. Ed Sheeran was the opening act singing A-Team pitch low, two beats, texture monophonic, dynamic piano, tempo moderato. The next song he played “give me love” pitch high, tempo allegretto, dynamics crescendo, texture monophonic, and tone color was dark. He did sing more songs; however, I came late so I only got to here two of his songs.
Then the amazing Taylor Swift came on and started to sing “state of grace” pitch was high, dynamic crescendo, tempo allegretto, and texture monophonic. Taylor’s next song was “holy ground” pitch was moderate, dynamic forte, tempo presto, two beats, and form verse, chores. She is an inspiration to all girls who want to be themselves and to have fun. Her voice never wavered and kept going to the very end. Her next song “you belong with me” which is one of my favorite songs from her. Her pitch was high, dynamic mezzo forte, tempo allegretto, form verse, chores, and two beats.
She does clothing change and goes to the next song “the lucky one” pitch low, temp moderato, dynamic mezzo piano, and texture polyphonic. Her next song which is now her signature “red” tempo moderato, pitch high, dynamic mezzo forte, texture monophonic, and two beats. ”the lucky one” pitch high, dynamics mezzo forte, tempo moderato, and form verse, chores. She starts to sing after giving an inspirational speech “mean” tempo allegretto, dynamic mezzo forte, texture homophonic, and two beats. She starts to sing after giving an inspirational speech “mean” tempo allegretto, dynamic mezzo forte, texture homophonic, and two beats.
Next song “stay stay stay” texture homophonic, tempo vivace, pitch moderato, and dynamic crescendo. She changes into another outfit and starts to sing “22” her tone color bright, tempo vivace, and pitch high. She changes again and talks to the fans and tells that this most requested and plays acoustic “starlight” pitch low, texture monophonic, two beats, and dynamic mezzo piano. The next song was a duet with Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift called “everything has changed” texture polyphonic, dynamic mezzo forte, tempo moderato, and form verse, chores.
The next song is her and her guitar “begin again” pitch low, tempo andante, dynamic mezzo piano, and texture monophonic. Her next song “sparks fly” which she starts playing on a twelve string guitar. Pitch is high, tempo is allegro, and dynamic forte. Taylor’s next song starts off with her violinist making an awesome entrance. Then Taylor comes out in a new outfit singing “I knew you were trouble” pitch was high, tempo presto, dynamic forte, and form verse, chores. She goes on the piano and talks to fans about writing her songs and being amazing and then starts to sing. All too well” pitch was low, tempo adagio, dynamic piano, and texture monophonic. Taylor changes and comes out of the stage singing “love story” pitch high, tempo allegretto, and two beats. Taylor changes again and starts to sing “Treacherous” pitch low, tempo moderato, and dynamic is mezzo piano. The last song “we are never getting back together” which is a fun high pitch song, tempo is vivace, dynamic forte, and two beats. I loved the play and the concert, learning about the music was fun and I learned a lot. I won’t look at music the same.

Abigail Adams

Adams used the rhetorical strategies of logos, ethos, and pathos to guide her son In a direction that will push him to take advantage of the world he lives in to broaden his mind and understand the importance of engaging himself in society. First, Abigail uses logos in her writing. One of her ways to push her son in the direction she wants is for him to understand that developing the things he already knows will contribute to his broadening.
She wrote, “Your knowledge of the language must give you greater advantages now than you could possibly have reaped whilst ignorant of it; and as you increase in years, you will find your understanding opening and daily Adams). She wants him to realize that if he can utilize the things he already knows, then his comprehension of life will become deeper. HIS advantage Is that he Is surrounded by countless opportunities In which he can go and apply his knowledge, but he needs to see It.
Another way Abigail tries to push him Is by telling him that, “When a mind Is raised and animated by scenes that engage the heart, then those qualities, which would otherwise lie dormant, wake into Adams). Not only is she stressing the part about him needing to utilize his knowledge, but she is also pointing out, again, that he will never know what he is capable of until he wakes it up. The use of logos is strategic because it reassures the on of what could be if he would Just look into his mind. Second, she uses ethos in her letter to her son.

Abigail claims to her son that she has met with an author and he compares “a Judicious traveler to a river, that increases Its stream the further it flows from Its source; or to certain springs, which, running through rich veins of minerals, Improve their qualities as they pass along. “(Unknown author). This Is the point she used to remind her son to take advantage of the world. He needs to be ‘a river’ and soak up all the knowledge or ‘minerals’ he can. The new knowledge will improve him as a person because it will allow his mind to broaden, plus it is an act of engaging in society and the world.
To back up her point of ethos, Abigail wrote, “All history will convince you of this, and that wisdom and penetration are the fruit of experience, not the lessons of retirement and Adams). ‘All of history is a very large statement. This furthers her want for him to go out, take advantage of his world, and experience things to expand his understanding. She reminds him that the only way to broaden one’s mind and gain wisdom and knowledge is through experience or engagement. Her strategic use of ethos can get her point across to her son that participating In life and In society will allow him to gain a variety of qualities.
Lastly, Ball used the strategy of pathos to further gulled her son. Since she Is a mother, she uses status to her advantage. In the beginning, she apologizes to make sure that her son lets go of any hostility towards her for making him go on a voyage “It will be expected of you, my son… “, “… Under the instructive eye of a tender parent… “, meet it is your lot, my son, to be an eyewitness… In your own native land… ” , ” … O have a parent who has taken so large and active a share in this contest… “, and “… Nor your country, and render your parents supremely happy, particularly your ever affectionate mother. ” These small pieces that were slipped into sentences reinforce her status. She is the mother and she has the power in the end, but she hopes he will do it on his own, with the help of this letter. Her usage of pathos is the factor that has the ability to thoroughly convince him to do her wishes. Abigail Adams knew exactly what she wanted for her son and she knew what needed to happen for him to see it as well. The letter she wrote captures all the things she hoped for him to experience and learn.
The use of rhetorical strategies allowed her to convey her wishes because each strategy, logos, ethos, and pathos, served a specific purpose. Logos showed her son why he should listen to her. Ethos let him know that his mother was not the only one to think these things. Finally, pathos was the side that enabled Abigail to use her mother status. After all of her words were written, she hoped that her son would understand how important it was to allow the world to give you knowledge and use said knowledge in return to broaden the mind and it’s horizons.

Hand Decontamination With the outbreak of antibiotic resilient infections, infection control is becoming a major concern for health groups all over the world (WHO, 2011). The risk of infection can be reduced by using three types of hand washing known as social, hygienic and surgical methods (HAI, 2011). Social hand washing is a useful method for removing dirt and transient micro-organisms. Using soap or an alcohol-based gel if hands are not soiled, vigorously clean your hands using the eight stages of hand-washing.
This can stop transmission of the transient micro-organisms when in direct contact with patients (NHS, 2009). Alcohol-based hand rubs or gels should not be used alone when infection is present as this alone will not kill the spores for infection such as clostridium difficile. After washing hands must be dried properly as failure to do this can increase the transfer of bacteria (Nottingham University Hospitals, 2011). Hygienic hygiene not only removes transient microorganisms but also reduces resident microorganisms.
This is used when preparing to work in a sterile environment, during an outbreak situation or following contact with bodily fluids. Use an antiseptic hand cleanser when washing and vigorously follow the eight steps of hand-washing. After drying properly then apply an alcohol-based hand rub and repeat the eight stages (NHS, 2011). Surgical scrubbing is a longer and more thorough antiseptic wash of both the hands and forearms. Before a surgical procedure this method is designed to remove as many of the micro-organisms as possible.

It involves systematic washing and scrubbing of the hands and forearms using the most effective antibacterial cleansing agent available. Sterile gown and glove procedures are performed following the surgical scrub (NHS, 2010). Effective hand washing can break the chain of infection which is known as: the infectious agent, reservoir, portal of exit, mode of transmission, portal of entry and host. If the chain remains intact then infection will develop, therefore, nurses must wash their hands before, during and after ontact with a patient and their environment. This will consequently stop the infection progressing while ensuring micro-organisms do not build up in the environment. Direct and indirect contact transmission involves contact with a contaminated object which may be unwashed hands or gloves that are not changed between patients (HAI, 2011). One of the main principles of good hygiene is the use of personal protective equipment as this forms a skin barrier. It is important to ensure the equipment is intact and decontaminated.
The decision to use or wear personal protective equipment must be based on risk assessment associated with the patient care activity or intervention. Personal protective equipment includes: gloves, masks, eyewear, caps, gowns, aprons and other items (HAI, 2011). The Healthcare Associated Infection (HAI) advises that gloves be worn whenever there is a reasonable likelihood that hands will be in contact with blood or other potentially infectious material, mucous, non-intact skin or when handling contaminated items or surfaces.
The safe use and disposal of sharps is essential in protecting each and every individual from contamination and injury. The sharps bin can be used to dispose of medical supplies such as needles and syringes. After the use of needles they must be immediately disposed of in the sharps bin (NHS, 2011). All healthcare workers must be aware of their responsibility in avoiding needle stick injuries (NHS, 2007).

The North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) was a bill implemented on January 1st, 1994. Presented by President Clinton, NAFTA wanted to introduce free unrestricted trade between everyone on the North American continent (U.S, Canada, and Mexico) to eliminate trade taxes and increase trade. The effects of NAFTA are debated fiercely as to whether the bill had a positive or negative effect. The Rio Grande Valley (RGV) is a border community that rests right on the border of Texas and Mexico and ps quite a ways both east and west; all the way to the gulf. Since the RGV was so close to one of the trade partners of the NAFTA agreement, significant effects occurred in the area. NAFTA had both direct and indirect effects on the RGV positively and negatively.
In 1990 the RGV was one tenth of what it is today. The McAllen-Edinburg-Mission area was ranked the 4th fastest growing population between 1990 and 2000, right around the time frame that NAFTA was enacted. From 2000 to 2010 it was ranked 10th fastest growing population. According to the U.S census, the RGV as a whole has grown from 1,194,819 million a 64% increase since 1990. Back then the RGV had a population greater than 9 states. If you consider the southern half of the Rioplex (The area surrounding the Rio Grande River) then that adds an extra 3 million people to the population of Southern Texas and the most northern tip of Mexico. Together, the Rioplex is larger than 25 U.S States. This growth starting in the early 1990’s to present is parallel to the NAFTA lifetime. Can it be directly correlated to the aforementioned growth in the RGV and Rioplex populations; absolutely. First one must know facts about the RGV before the said assertions can be made.

In the 1960’s the RGV was an agricultural society. Today, it is booming economically and growing at an exponential rate for a few specific reasons. The RGV has the 3rd lowest cost of living in the country. This makes it a wonderful site for seasonal living and vacationers. The valley is famous for its’ population of “Winter Texans,” northerners who come down to the valley every winter season to escape the cold from the north on their old joints. Cute as they may be they make up a respectable portion of the population every winter season and they bring their money with them which in turn helps the valley population. Aside from Winter Texans low cost of living and cheap housing here allows for Hipics to come across the border for a short amount of time and work for money to spend here at our large retail establishments like Wal-Mart and H.E.B to get cheap goods to take home to their families. The increase in the number of large retail stores to supplement the demand of the Winter Texans and visiting Hipics has created a large number of jobs that has successfully reduced the unemployment rate in the Rio Grande Valley from 24% to a smaller 8%.
Who might be the ones taking up these jobs? The youth of the Valley are the ones taking up the majority of these entry level jobs needed to run the business. Over half of the Rio Grande Valley’s population is under the age 35. This is no coincidence due to the many appealing things about the valley to the young people who want to or are already living here. Cheap cost of living, access to college education via the new South Texas College (Made in 1993) and the University of Texas Pan American (Founded in 1927), rated 1st in technology sector growth in 08’, and CNN stated McAllen as “one of the best places to start a small business” in 2008 as well all attribute to the appeal of the RGV for young people. All these things come together to make up a great deal of the influx of youth in the RGV, for good reason. However due to the geography of the RGV the largest percentage of people in the area are Hipics. 84% of the population to be exact.

Life and Ministry of A. J. Tomlinson

Ambrose J. Tomlinson (1865-1943) belonged to a moderately wealthy family from Westfield, Indiana.  His family conducted business, and so the young Tomlinson, after finishing his studies at the prominent Westfield Academy, tried his hand at business as well.  His life in the huge Quaker community was serene to begin with.  In the rural community, Tomlinson was able to connect with a few religious people who strengthened his interest in the Gospel (Hunter, 2003).
Tomlinson’s neighbors in Westfield included two African-American families.  Each summer the African-American families in addition to some of the freed slaves attended camp meetings of people of color.  White worshippers were attracted to the meetings as well.  Even Tomlinson happened to attend some of these meetings.  Soon he was introduced by a man named J. B. Mitchell to Charles G. Finney, a revivalist.  In the year 1894, Tomlinson and Mitchell co-founded the Book and Tract Company which took them both on short trips to Appalachia.  Tomlinson was introduced to Frank Sandford, the founder of the Shiloh community, and other religious figures around this time (Hunter).
Tomlinson’s understanding of religion was enhanced as he encountered important religious personalities.  The Acts 2 commune practiced by the Shiloh community, for example, provided a model for his family to imitate.  In the year 1899, Tomlinson and his family came across the Fire-Baptized Holiness Association of B. H. Irwin (Hunter).  By this time Tomlinson had been eagerly seeking out “locations where special visitations of the Holy Spirit were occurring (Nienkirchen, 1992, p. 32).”  According to Nienkirchen, the goal of Tomlinson was “to find the true ‘Church of God’ where the preaching of the word was being confirmed by miracles, signs, and wonders, together with gifts of the Holy Spirit according to the pattern of Acts (p. 32).”  The Church of God for All Nations describes Tomlinson’s success in eventually finding the Church of God:

According to prophecy, the Church (Zion) was ordained to arise from the grave of the Dark Ages among the Gentiles in the Last Days (Isaiah 60:1-3; Isaiah 52:1).  This occurred on June 13, 1903, in Cherokee County, North Carolina, when Prophet A. J. Tomlinson found the body of people whom God had chosen to be the resurrection Church of God in its infancy this side of the Dark Ages.  It was in this same year that the Wright Brothers arose from the earth by the invention of the airplane, a material witness to what God was doing spiritually (Isaiah 60:8). Prior to this time, A. J. Tomlinson was a colporteur for the American Bible Society, distributing Bibles and religious literature throughout the southeastern United States.
He also printed and distributed his first publication called “Samson’s Foxes.”  God began to move upon him to find the body of people who would be the Church of the Last Days.  After investigating many groups, he scripturally determined the one which God had chosen.  It was the remains of a small union of churches which in 1886 became an association under the guidance and direction of R. G. Spurling and came to be known as the Christian Union.  It had dwindled into a small group in Camp Creek, however, because of the tragedies of heresy and fanaticism which had crept in to destroy the flock.  In 1902 the name was changed from Christian Union to Holiness Church.  The fellowship, consisting of some twenty members, was abiding under the name of Holiness Church when A. J. Tomlinson was moved by God to approach them for fellowship (“Church of God History”).
One morning of June 1903, Tomlinson climbed the Prayer Mountain in Cherokee County, North Carolina, to pray for the guidance of God.  Subsequently he was led by the Holy Spirit to join the Church of God that he had already discovered.  As Tomlinson was being led by the Holy Spirit, the Wright Brothers were trying hard to fly in another corner of North Carolina.  This acted as a sign for Tomlinson.  Moreover, his anointed leadership role became apparent to the others as well around the same time.  Tomlinson was made the pastor of the little community of believers almost immediately.  He was eventually recognized as a chosen one of God.  The Church was destined to grow under his guidance, until it was considered essential to arrange a General Assembly in the year 1906.  The General Assembly mainly consisted of the ministry.  After the meeting, the Church was able to grow further and its operations became more formalized.  The name of Tomlinson’s Church was eventually changed to Church of God in the year 1907 (“Church of God History”).
Tomlinson noted that he felt “more fully awakened” in the year 1907 (Hunter).  Soon after, he was granted the title of General Moderator of the Church of God.  In the year 1910, he was named General Overseer of the Church.  Four years later, the man’s appointment was acknowledged as perpetual.  In the year 1918, his life changed once again as his nation suffered from influenza and the Church was unable to convene a general conference.  From 1919, the state of affairs of the Church began to face a downturn, as the democratic government tried to disrupt its operation.
In 1922, the democratic government was able to draw up a constitution to subjugate Tomlinson to the total control as well as limitations imposed by the laws of the land.  Tomlinson realized that this move on the part of the government was designed to control the “Theocratic Government (“Church of God History”).”  From that point on, the man tried to do his utmost to make corrections in the functioning of the Church.  Because the financial records of the Church were not organized, however, the government expressed its doubts and suspicions about the conduct of the General Overseer.  Nevertheless, Tomlinson assumed complete responsibility for the financial affairs of his Church.  He was ultimately impeached in the year 1923 (“Church of God History”).
Being a man of God, Tomlinson had failed to properly attend to the monetary affairs of the Church, as he had preferred to attend to the Holy Spirit.  Although he lost his position as the General Overseer of the Church, he could not lose his anointing from God.  Thus, the man remained loyal to the “Theocratic Government” as well as his appointment from God to lead people in faith (“Church of God History”).  Tomlinson performed these God-assigned duties with vigor and tenacity.  He even tried to reform the Church “by a principle well supported in Jeremiah 18:1-11 (“Church of God History”).”  He had been impeached in June.  By September he was able to get the Church of God to publish a periodical called The White Wing Messenger (“Church of God History”).
Unsurprisingly, the Church of God began to flourish once more under the leadership of Tomlinson.  Although it had been persecuted, the Church also began to experience financial prosperity.  Most importantly, it was able to increase its understanding of prophetic truth through the guidance of Tomlinson.  The flag of the Church was “revealed according to Psalms 60:4 (“Church of God History”).”  Soon after the United States Patent Office had granted recognition to the flag, in the year 1939, Tomlinson heard of a young minister named Grady R. Kent, who had been severely persecuted in Egan, Georgia.  Tomlinson invited Kent to pastor a local church in Cleveland.  Once he realized that Kent was a successful preacher, Tomlinson taught him about many prophetic passages.  The Church of Prophecy Makers Association was formed in the year 1941.  Shortly before his death in 1943, Tomlinson appointed Kent as its general secretary (“Church of God History”).
Thus, Tomlinson fulfilled his responsibilities toward the Church until the very end of his term on earth.  Franklin D. Roosevelt, the president of the United States, was one of the many people who expressed their condolences at the demise of the great minister.  Tomlinson had been largely responsible for the “overspread of Pentecostalism” during the twentieth century (“Church of God History”).  Most importantly, however, he was responsible for helping countless people expand their knowledge about the Gospel.  Milton, his younger son, who was appointed as the General Overseer of the Church of God, is not known to have possessed the qualities of his father (“Church of God History”).  After all, Tomlinson had nurtured a special relationship with God that had granted him special privileges in connection with the Holy Spirit, and ultimately with the Body of Christ.

If you choose to handwrite any part of the report, you must do so legibly in ink. Illegible responses, including sections written with poor handwriting or typed in with minuscule font size will not be marked and will be assigned a value of zero.

Lots of space is provided in each section of the report. Be concise. You do not need to fill in all space provided for the sake of doing so.

She mentioned that you will be expecting 10 new employees for the training, and she wants you to be in charge of preparing them for their new roles in leadership. Based on what you have learned so far in our course, create a training that will help the new leaders understand the difference between leadership and management.
