You have just been promoted from front-line supervisor to be one of  the firm’s senior managers. During your business education, you learned  that the primary role of a manager is to make good decisions. As a  supervisor, you had frequently been making routine decisions, but you  realize that decision making for the overall company can and will have  far greater impact on the company and its employees. Your boss, the chief executive officer (CEO), realizes that you do  not have much practice in this higher level, decision-making process and  has asked you to write a memo describing your understanding of how to  make important decisions. Your memo should address the following questions:

Describe at least 3 criteria that would determine whether the  manager is making good decisions. What….

Amendment Right

Many American citizens take their civil liberties for granted. Many do not realize how valuable their rights and privileges under the United States Constitution really are, until they begin to be taken away. The Fourth Amendment, essentially the right to privacy, is slowly being stripped from the American citizen. The use of TEMPEST, or sophisticated eavesdropping technology to intercept information, including telephone monitoring and video surveillance, is unconstitutional under the Fourth Amendment of the United States Constitution.

The Fourth Amendment of the United States Constitution states that people have the right to privacy in their person, houses, papers, and effects against unreasonable searches and seizures, and that people should not be violated, and no warrants issued, unless there is probable cause. (“U. S. Constitution: Fourth Amendment”, 2009) The….

Thomas Frank is a pioneering social critic, writing articles on how businesses adopted “cool anti-corporate culture”. As the article progresses we find that these businesses offer nothing more than poor quality merchandise at a low price, and the consumer is lured in by the promise of quality for less…..

Christopher Nolan

No one has had as impressive of a career as Christopher Jonathan James Nolan. His films have earned $3. 3 billion at the global box office, and the total is still growing. This British/American screenwriter, director and producer’s most popular films include The Dark Knight (2008), Inception (2010) and The Dark Knight Rises (2012). Remarkably, many critics have lined up as well, embracing both Nolan’s more offbeat productions, like Memento (2000) and The Prestige (2006), and his blockbusters (Price and Dawson, 2009). Nolan is now routinely considered one of the most accomplished living filmmakers. This essay will analyze the types of techniques he has used to create heart-stopping films, and will more specifically look at his methods used in creating Insomnia (2002), his first studio film. I will….
